Lopa Hossain is more popular and known as a news presenter. She joined country’s first private Satellite TV channel ATN Bangla in 2006 and worked there for about 11 years as senior news anchor. Currently he is working as senior news presenter in Bangla TV.
He has won several awards as the best news presenter. Trained on news presentation in various institutes and workshops. Served as cultural editor of News Broadcasters Alliance of Bangladesh (NBA).

Lopa Hossain also writes poems, stories and novels. His first poetry book “Je Ondhotter Naam Valobasha (The name of blindness is love)” was published in the book fair of 2015. The first novel “Tomar Opekkhay (Waiting for you)” was published in the book fair of 2016. In 2020, his 2nd poetry book “Amar Ekta Tumi Chai” was published.
